Apple Canyon Lake (www.applecanyonlake.org) is a 15 mile shoreline private lake with
over 2700 lots on 2700 Acres. The lake is over 450 acres of water, 85 feet deep, some
of the best fisshing in Illinois, with a beautiful view from any flight angle. Located just 1 mile
south of the airport, a frequent flier might find a bite to eat at the best restaurant
on the lake:  The Cove.

The Cove Restuarant (Under new management and remodeled 2003)
(open all summer from 10am-11pm). Spring (prior to Memorial
Day), Fall (after labor day), and Winter hours vary... So checkout the "Dinning" button in
the selection field.

There are other site to see at Apple Canyon Lake, including a Marina, a Clubhouse, and
Nixon Beach for swimmers.
